Physical Health
It’s no news that you live in a physical body. How well are you taking care of that body? Are you proud of it? If your body had a voice, what would it say to you? Perhaps it’s saying, “Stop eating that!”, or “I need to stretch more!” Maybe it’s more like, “Hey, I loved that new juice drink. Can we have another?”
If you don’t have a plan for your physical health, then you’re probably leaving a lot of health and stamina on the table. But what if you could tap in to the full potential of your physical health? Doing this should be a part of your plan for personal success. If it is, imagine the energy you’ll have for every other area in your life! Your body is an integral part of self-improvement. If you don’t treat it like that, then you’re limiting yourself and capping your overall sense of fulfillment. Take care of your body, and you’ll be on your way to a much fuller lifestyle.

Mental Health
What in the world are you thinking about? Have you ever asked yourself that question?
Both the way you think and what you believe are directly reflected in the words you speak. Your thoughts and words have tremendous power. This means that it's important to harness your thought life and learn to be intentional and purposeful when it comes to the words you speak. Regardless of whether or not you believe it, you will attract into your life exactly what you expect (believe) and what you say. It’s the basics of the “law of attraction.” What do you want to attract into your life? Do your words line up with that on a daily basis?
To retrain your words, you must retrain your thinking first. Learn to develop mindsets that reflect the greatness you were born to experience. Change your thoughts from average or below average to above and beyond. Two of the best ways to improve your mental health are: 1) believe the truth, and 2) get a vision for your life.
Retraining your thinking will also support your emotional health. Why? Your emotions are almost always the product of your mindsets and what you’ve trained yourself to believe. In other words, your emotions are directly affected by your thoughts.

Emotional Health
On one side of the spectrum, there are people who live life emotionally detached from themselves, others, and circumstances. On the flip side, you have people who are almost entirely led by their emotions. Neither of these types would be considered emotionally “healthy.”
Emotionally healthy individuals are able to access their emotions AND properly steward them. They have the necessary skills sets that allow themselves to experience feelings without being overrun by them. Taking charge of your thought life is one of the best ways to steward your emotions. Most of the time it’s related to what you believe.
If you’re not in touch with your emotions, then work on removing the obstacles so that you’re able to feel more than just “good” or “bad.” If you make decisions entirely based on emotions, then practice being patient and aligning yourself with the wisdom of God. Emotional health is about both having emotions and keeping them in their proper place. This may seem like a daunting task, but there's hope for this as you grow spiritually!
Spiritual Health
One of the core concepts of The Big Day is that life is 100% natural and 100% spiritual. These are two overlapping realities that were never meant to be separated. One without the other significantly limits the potential of your personal success.
Spiritual health and spiritual maturity go hand-in-hand. The spiritual aspect consists of your relationship with God. Spiritually mature people have learned how to align themselves with the wisdom of God, be led by the Spirit of God, and develop their faith.
The greater your spiritual maturity, the better leader you’ll be. It means you’ve tapped into a resource that’s greater (much greater) than yourself, and you're not dependent on your own strength and abilities. God is always able to help you if you let Him and follow His lead. As you practice disciplines like walking in the wisdom of God and being led by His Spirit, you’ll see how your mindsets, words, and emotions all benefit from your spiritual growth. You’ll begin to make choices that reflect your relationship with God and His great desires for your life.
Bonus! Five Areas of Personal Success
Imagine that you’re healthy and walking in freedom in the four areas of personal success we just mentioned. Now imagine how it’s affecting your relationships! If you’ve grown in your physical health, mindsets, emotions, and spiritual maturity, then the added benefit of all this is relational success. You’ll see the strength of your relationships with family, friends, and coworkers increase right along with the other areas.
All of this contributes to your overall enjoyment and quality of life. You’ll find meaning, purpose, and fulfillment as you consistently develop your health from the inside-out. This is what it means to “win big” in the game of life!
